What does a coach actually “do”?

Coaches are trained to listen, to observe and to customise their approach to individual client needs. They seek to help you clarify where you are and where you want to go. A coach will help you learn from past actions, behaviours and habits and identify solutions and strategies, make a plan, and then hold you to it.

A coach will ask powerful questions that help you gain new and exciting insight into yourself and your life, business or whatever aspect of your life you are focussing on. My job is to ask the questions, so that you can find the answers – after all, only you know your next best steps.

A coach can act as a sounding board for your ideas, stretch and challenge your thinking with insightful questions, help you identify and use all of your talents and strengths – help you create new thinking habits.
